This site is a tremendous tribute to the hound! I have watched it grow for quite a few years.

I was born and raised in Getzville N.Y. outside of Buffalo. Most people probably don’t remember this about the hound, but most Buffalo people remember ramblin’ lou, a local dj and station owner, he is still around today! Back in the early, early 50’s or late 40’s ramblin’ lou had a country band called “the tnt cowboys” George was his bass fiddle player! Before he became the ‘hound’ I remember the band coming to our farm for corn roasts. They played in the local bars around N. Tonawanda. My mother was a record distributor for RCA. They would drag me to everything. Been to the ‘zanz’ as a little kid. Still love r&b today. Cosy eggelstons ‘Big Heavy’ still sends chills down my back. Keep up the great work!!! Regards, Bill
