“Movin ‘n Groovin at the Zanzabar man.”

Throughout the 50s, we didn’t get into a car that the radio wasn’t set on “KB” for the Hound. And no one I knew listened to or allowed anything but The Hound, until He’d sign off, then who cared what you listened to. Lookin for Mad Man Munce TVs. One night in the winter of 56-57 he played Long Tall Sally seemed like some 30 times in succession. (Don’t ask who’s record, there wasn’t only one was there?) We were in Auburn and down around Ithaca. What was it 50,000 watt tower of power? Even at the Great Lakes boot camp there was a following. Ya just didn’t miss The Hound. Then lost track of him after boot camp in 59 ‘n 60.
