I used to go see George “Hound Dog” Lorenz at the Zanzibar on William Street. This was when the races got along. They would have strippers and play all the new rock and roll and blues. I’ll never forget a stripper name Baby Washington that was the star attraction one weekend. She had to go at least 200#lbs. We had a great time there dancing to what are now all the oldies
