The Hound was on WTYM-AM in Springfield MA from around 7-10 AM between Labor Day and Thanksgiving in 1959.
An inopportune time slot because high school kids were in school for most of the time period. WTYM was one of those stations that left the air at sundown (whatever happened to such stations?) necessitating the early morning time slot and apparently a failed experiment in boosting ratings.
