Francis Conmy

Joined the Army in July 1957. I was doing basic training @ Ft. Meade Maryland,located between Washington D.C.,and Baltimore. We made a field trip of 3 wks. to AP Hill in Va.,lived in tents up on a hill.Drilled all day,and went back to tents to settle in for the night when I heard this music coming from the tent next to us,clear as if I sitting at home in Buffalo,then the unmistakable voice of the Hound inviting all of us to listen to these great sounds.
