I grew up in the Black Rock section of Buffalo and went to Riverside High, class of 1959. What a great time to experience the growth of rock and roll and the main source of good music was the Hound. We hung out at the Amherst Dairy Bar and the owner lets us select the records for the juke box. While other place were playing Pat Boone, we had Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Fats Domino and all the other greats were heard on the Houndog show. Hi style was absolutely great even the commercials were worth paying attention to. Handome Harry,Pal AL , etc. This website is great. I wish that George had a better exhibit at the Rock and Roll hall of fame. He helped some many artists get attention in the northeast.
